AFPA has received and continues to pursue numerous international accreditations and recognitions from third-party accrediting organizations.

American Naturopathic Medical Accreditation Board (ANMAB)

AFPA nutrition and coaching certification programs are accredited by the American Naturopathic Medical Accreditation Board (ANMAB). ANMAB Accreditation procedures have become the standard recognized by the majority of practitioners and institutions in the Naturopathic profession. Graduates from these AFPA programs are eligible for additional Board Certification from the ANMCB.

American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP)

AFPA is an accredited school by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). The AADP is recognized by both, traditional and non-traditional holistic schools and colleges worldwide as an independent accrediting board for alternative health educational institutions and programs. Graduates of AFPA nutrition and coaching programs are eligible for additional Board Certification from the AADP.

National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)

NBHWC-Approved Training Program

AFPA’s Certified Master Health and Wellness Coach program is an Approved Health and Wellness Coach Training & Education Program by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for the HWC Certifying Examination to become a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).

NBHWC Continuing Education Seal of Approval

AFPA is recognized by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) for continuing education and training.  National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC). CE – 000082-3.

International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM)

AFPA is an accredited training provider by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM).

International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT)

AFPA is an approved Platinum Training Provider for the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) for the modality of Holistic Health Coach in Australia, NZ, South Africa and the UK/EU.

National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP)

AFPA is an approved continuing education provider by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP). The AFPA Holistic Nutritionist certification program is approved by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals for 30 NANP Category 1 CEUs. The AFPA Health & Wellness Coaching certification program is approved by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals for 30 NANP Category 1 CEUs.

Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO)

AFPA is a recognized coaching organizational member of the Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO).

Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges (FAPSC)

AFPA American Fitness Professionals and Associates is recognized by the state of Florida as an Associate Member in the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges (FAPSC).

American Holistic Health Association (AHHA)

AFPA is a partner in wellness and organizational member of the American Holistic Health Association (AHHA).

American Nutrition Association (ANA)

AFPA is recognized as an organizational member of the American Nutrition Association (ANA).

Council of Holistic Health Educators (CHHE)

AFPA is a member of the Council of Holistic Health Educators (CHHE). The Council of Holistic Health Educators is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit collective of holistic health schools, educators, practitioners, and stakeholders, united to protect and grow the rights of holistic health educators, their students, and practitioners.

Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)

AFPA Holistic Health Coach, Holistic Nutritionist, and Health and Wellness Coach programs have received international accreditation by the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), the UK’s leading professional association for therapists.

National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)

AFPA is recognized by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as an Approved Continuing Education Provider.

Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA)

AFPA is recognized by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as an Approved Continuing Education Provider.

Graduates of AFPA nutrition and coaching programs are eligible to apply for the American Natural Wellness Coach (ANWCB) or the American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners (AANWP) board certification.
