AFPA is dedicated to delivering outstanding, quality-controlled programs to our customers and students. AFPA certification workshops are presented by industry leaders and may be held at personal training or fitness studio, wellness center, educational institution, hospital or health care facility or military instillation. To learn more about hosting an AFPA certification workshop please read the following information.

Host a workshop and receive free training!

• Receive free training and certification when you host an AFPA Certification Workshop
• Receive one complimentary training and certification tuition for a qualified staff member.
  A $399.00 value!
• Receive a second complimentary tuition with a minimum of 15 registered and paid-in-full participants.
  A $798 value!
• Receive a third complimentary tuition with a minimum of 20 registered and paid-in-full participants. A $1197 value!
• Your staff receives a 20% discount of the registration fee!

Benefits to the You the Sponsor:

• No cost to the sponsor - advertising, printing, postage, and travel expenses are paid by AFPA.
• Your facility will gain visibility and receive national and international publicity though the AFPA e-news monthly newsletter, the workshop locator and through AFPA print for the event.
• Your staff will receive a 20% discount off the registration fee and receive the highest level of educational experience. AFPA faculty trainers and presenters are experts in their field with years of formal education and experience.
• All course textbooks and materials are included in the registration price.
• All members of AFPA receive discounts on conferences, and on AFPA liability insurance.

AFPA will provide the following:

• Printing and advertising of your event.
• Paying all trainer expenses.
• Providing all training program materials (textbooks, outlines, etc.)
• AFPA will process all workshop registrations. The host does is not to collect or submit payments on behalf of participants.

For the optimal learning environment, we ask the sponsor to provide the following:

• A room free from other activities and distractions. (Chairs and table may be required depending on the type of workshop).
• Access to the gym & equipment for the trainers only that are attending the class (personal trainer & strength trainer, trainer of special populations).
• Assistance in the promotion of the workshop in and around your area. We supply the marketing materials for you.
• A facility that has a specific type of room(s) that can accommodate the type of workshop you choose to host.
• The room must be in adequate condition, and free from noise or distractions in order to ensure quality education.
• Post information about the training within your facility. Pass the information along to all your instructors, trainers, and fitness staff. Be able to provide directions to the club when registrants call for information on facility location. Additional advertising assistance is appreciated but not required.
• Weekend access to the facility.
• Activity and lecture space for 20-30 people.

Cost of Seminar:

$399.00 - two day workshop/certification.*
*Prices may vary depending on number of days and type of event.
