Be Here To Help As A Women’s Health Consultant

By Jack Brooks

Tom Peters, one of the great business minds of our time, noted in his book, The Circle of Innovation, “That is …this Woman Thing is unmistakably in my opinion ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY #1..for the foreseeable future.” The US female population age 45 and over is forecasted to grow by 2% annual through 2005.

Women have become the majority of consumers of healthcare in the United States, comprising 66% of consumers of 44 million hospital procedures. Health-oriented women spend 66 cents of every healthcare dollar and make 75% of all household healthcare related decisions. Yet we have a healthcare paradigm in our country that offers minimal support and is certainly circuitous, legally complex, expensive, and rarely proactive.

Whether it’s critical aftercare, patient advocacy, fitness/diet, stress management, family and individual counseling, pre and post pregnancy, or other women’s health areas, a skilled and educated expert can be a tremendous asset to women navigating these difficult waters.

An advanced nursing degree, such as an RN or LVN entails some few years of study and clinical residency, as well as being quite expensive, and such personnel are more useful in the clinical environment.

Today there’s training in more specific categories that enable the motivated health consultant to obtain specialized education and launch a career. Some of them are shown below.
