Advisory Board Members

The AFPA Board of Advisors is made up of internationally renowned experts, and authors in the fields of exercise science, personal fitness, nutrition, weight management and wellness.

Mission Statement

The AFPA Board of Advisors serves as a vehicle for communication and interaction between the faculty of AFPA and the fitness & wellness community. In addition, the board advises the AFPA faculty on strategy, curriculum and programs and provides opportunities for, and assistance with, research, program development and other projects. The Board of Advisors also engages with AFPA students as mentors and guest speakers.

Purpose

The Board of Advisors is comprised of leaders in the fitness, health & wellness community who believe in the vision of AFPA and who have a desire to make a difference in the lives of others by offering ideas, opportunities, and assistance with research, educational programming or other projects of significance to the fitness and wellness community.
